Try GSF, you'd be surprised what they have to offer! I got mine from there a couple of years ago!

This is Steve's way of saying 'you slacker, where are the part numbers for my bushes?'
![]() I really think, given the condition of the shell, the back end of this 100 needs the parts dropped off, shotblasted and powdercoated. At the same time the diff needs the seals replaced on it, really...... while you're at it the driveshafts need stripping, re-greasing and painting, too. ![]() Just my opinion, like (and what I just did to the back end of my G-plater Golf Syncro). Anyhoo, the bushes (matron). 443511247D is only used on the 100/200 quattro, so will be OE spec only, I suspect. I am concerned about the chassis break listed on this bearing. Can anyone with a bigger hood on their anorak confirm the break in the chassis details listed at: F 44-L-125 000 in ETKA, please? At this point the catalogue swaps to 4A0511249 which is for the later housings, which are right and left handed. I *suspect* Steve's is the earlier item, but it'd be a git to order them and get the wrong ones. 4D0511523C is used all over the shop, including the RS2 and 80/90 quattro Avant. this means there is a Powerflex replacement available, I think it is this one which is the rear, lower arm bush on the RS2 here 443505171F is only used on the 100/200 and A6 quattros, so you're not going to find one of those listed in urethane, unfortunately. As the part number is 100Q specific I'd think you'll be TPS for those, too. Steve, you need to check, but I think this is used front and back on the upright. This would mean you need four of these items. One of the biggest risks in doing this job will be shearing off seized nuts on bolts. To this end I would recommend purchasing new bolts for the bushes that are being replaced: 2 off N 0101977 2 off N 0101913 2 off N 0111896 4 off N 10298501 4 off N 90284003 Anyone with any other 100s in the South West they need stuff done on PM me - I can probably help out - lying on my back under bank vaults is strangely theraputic (and better than working on 1978 MG Midgets). |
