can you tell I like guitar?
Adrian Belew was another outstanding guitarist to play with Bowie. Here he is on his own performing a King Crimson number:

Not strictly 80s but can't let the Bowie guitarist bit go by without throwing in my tenpenneth.

It has to be the late great MICK RONSON for me any day of the week

Performing with 'The Spiders' in 73 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEmGQYCuc6M

With Ian Hunter in 75 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y15iusA4ylc

and at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert in 92 shortly before he sadly passed away https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJ6T9uYImnQ

Rock on Ronno

Music is a massive influence on my life.

I was born in 83 so missed all the music I love first time round.
My love is a little known underground movement called Psychobilly.

Any fans or anyone even heard of ot?

Classic stuff there.I remember gene gene well being 7/8 at the time with the streets full of Cortinas,mk1 Escorts,Hillman Hunters,Rovers, and living in twickenham at the time Jags of all description inc E types. Don't know the second track at all.The last i remember well too and a great track.Such a shock to hear of freddie's death even though i personally had no queen stuff.Soon put that right though. I bought this so here's a track they recorded just before his death.

I've certainly heard of it Slacker. Didn't know they were Psychobilly at the time but I saw the Polecats at Lancaster University in the very early 80s as support to Dave Edmunds/Phil Lowe's Rockpile. There was Psychobilly act on at Morecambe Scooter weekend a few years back but didn't get to the gig and can't remember the name of the band I'm afraid.
You got the haircut?

As an old fart ex punk.....no actually, I'm still a punk,....I remember seeing King Kurt at a little club in manchester called Cloud 9, the messiest gig I ever went to and, believe me, I've been to some messy gigs in my time! I think I saw the Meteors too but can't remember where!

Anyway, Slaughter & The Dogs were the best "real" punk band...and they still tour....just a bit older, balder and fatter...like me ha ha!
