Default Battery hold down clamp '84 Audi 80 Sport

Anyone got one of these lying around? I have been unable to find one thus far. Local breakers yards are no good - all the Audis from the '80s have long since been crushed!

I would need the bolt too.

Thanks

Rob.

Have you tried Mike Ball, he is known as Audibits2 on eBay. Tel no. 07809 222346. I got one off him with the bolt for the 90 as new for three quid.

I think so. It's been missing since I've owned the car. So I am unable to confirm.

If you get totally stuck, I've got one spares in the shed. Probably find a bolt too. They're more oblong with one angled edge. Not so bad on the early ~Sport as the battery is sort of wedged in on the o/s, but I have had one hop out of the tray on one fitted to the n/s, when I forgot to put the clamp back . It's an MOT failure too as far as I'm aware. Cheers. G.

Thanks for that. If I can't get hold of one from the other two sources I will have it!

I'll let you know.
