I think Craig's suggesting that he's likely to end it all, not only for himself, but take most of the Pacific Rim with him too... It'd be a pretty spectactular cry for help even the Samaritans would struggle with...

Apologies to Craig if my response seemed to be a little dismissive, but these sort of people are too much in love with themselves and power to terminate their own existence.
Look at Hitler, left it till the Allied forces were practically on top of him and then ended it all rather than face justice.

Wink

I think that there are many dangers here;
Possibly the most imminent is if N Korea decides to cross the border into the South. America will no doubt start to move in, but China will align itself with the North in a very big way.
We will no doubt feel 'obliged' to back America and hey pesto! (As Peppa Pig would say) we have a massive military stand-off.
Anyone old enough to remember Cuba, the 14 days in October 1962 which is widely held to be the closest to nuclear war that the USA and Russia came?
I have a horrible feeling that we are heading the same way.
As Elvis Costello so eloquently put it in 'Olivers Army',
"Only takes one itchy trigger, one more widow, one less white ******...."

Can I take this opportunity to say good luck to you all, its been great to be a member of CA, and I'm now off to lie in a cockroach nest in the vague hope that I, like them, will apocryphally be the only survivor.... Bahahaha!

You have to wonder if the Chinese leadership would allign itself with N.Korea if it came to the crunch.
Economically at least, they have too much too lose. The west buys most of what they produce and they won't want to lose that. The people of China won't want to lose that either now that they have had a taste of capitalism. To quote another musician, Frank Zappa once said "communism doesn't work 'cos people want stuff"

How long you been a fan of Peppa Pig?

He's just a silly fat virgin who cant see his dick over his tum and is frustrated cos his wanking machine keeps breaking down at critical moments.

I cant take him seriously at all with that haircut and the way he chants/rants/talks....i can take him even less seriously when he looks like this:

Tombliboo Kim/Un...

Peppa Pig is just cool; I've even had a PP t shirt made up that I wear regularly!
Peppa would make a better political leader than Cameron, Obama and all of the leaders in the Orient!!!
Must watch 'Team America - World Police' tonight; I'm sooooo ronery...

Or his about a quote from 'No Country For Old Men'?

Wendell: It's a mess, ain't it, sheriff?
Ed Tom Bell: If it ain't, it'll do till the mess gets here.

Not good from the little I've watched on it, off to watch some more.. I used to post depressing things like this quite a lot but nobody ever answered. Good to see bad news on CA.

I don't think China are stupid enough to 'lash out', at anyone, to be honest. They haven't done since we were living in mud huts, well, thatched huts maybe.. Even more scary to me is that the most powerful nation on earth is run by a bunch of Christians! Now that's scary.

The poor phoo'in people of that country need help though, in more ways than one. Not sure 'US friendly' regime change is best for everyone though, but China or Russia could bring them out of the dark a bit I'm sure.
