There are 3 of em local to me. They always show up together at local classic car eves & cruise round the field with a door raised....don't really do it for me & yeah, rather shit underneath, slow Reno V6 an' all.

Lets not tarnish this thread topic with stainless steel stuff LOL

As SteveT63 will remember, the Rover dealer in Arnold, Nottingham had a couple of 6R4's in the showroom, had a sit in one when Princess Di came to Notts; they were sold off for under£18k iirc (and there's a story if naughty 'out the back door' dealings too iirc!)

Not quite sure I agree Simmo, the T16 and Lancia S4 are currently stacks better value for money than a Sport, and where the auction market actually values all three (sorry Oakfields, you're well overpriced!)

IMO, T16's are becoming less value for money year by year in respect of their performance. As a standard road car, they're not astonishingly quick (wouldn't put me off though!!). 200bhp, 6 secs 0-60 & 135mph flat out. Not sure how easy or expensive it is to extract more power. There was a factory 300bhp kit available which comprised of a virtually complete new engine. I know of a couple of overseas cars running this conversion.

There was one living in Stockport for a number of years, a car which I knew of. The engine popped a couple o' years ago. It went over to Ireland for the princely sum of £30.000. Shame I found out after it'd gone!!!

garym on here has one. I tried to find out more info from him about his car, but had no response..

T16 and s4 dont even come close as road cars. Build quality is crap and performance is average. The sport is in a different league
