Default wanted,clutch fluid reservoir for '86 cq

Hi,I need a clutch fluid reservoir for an '86 cq.It's the little one thats mounted on the drivers side under the bonnet.Thanks in advance,Mike.

Not got one, but to add to your woes Mine got split a couple of months ago ~& tried to get one, but another NLA from Audi! Makes me think I should have gone the BMW route..............not really. I'm still glad I went the Audi route despite their lack of support on spares! Hope you get sorted - had to epoxy mine! G.

If you dont already know they are No Longer Available (NLA).
Pete Reeve has found one which is similar from a BMW, its a little taller than the original and the connection faces down rather than out of the side. It does the job and keeps you on the road.

why dont they make up some alloy ones... would look pretty under the bonnet too... any handy fabricators out there to TIG up a few...

You get the occasional new one pop up on ebay from time to time. Otherwise, it's only a resevoir, there are plenty of substitutes available from various bikes plus some of the competition resevoirs can be adapted.
