Right, me again...
I'm looking at fitting an after market alarm to my 94 coupe. In the past I've had a Clifford system which was a nightmare and would never have again I don't think, so my question is basically is there anyone that can recommend a system to me? I'm after remote central locking, protection on boot, bonnet and doors, motion sensor, impact sensor (the smashing window sensor), perhaps total closure but not really fussed. I just want a decent system that doesn't cost the earth, I've seen some simple ones from £30 right to £££££'s more but I'm a little stuck for advice? Thanking you all once again ![]() |

An old work colleague used to work for Toad fitting their alarms, he rated them pretty good......don't know what they're like these days?
Are you looking at fitting it yourself? John. |

In about 2000 I bought a Nissan 200 (newest car I've ever owned, sold it soon after 'cause it was too new for me
), it had a Clifford on it...........annoying is how I would describe it. I kept in touch with the new owner as I done the services on it, the Clifford went tits up on a slip road at 10 o'clock at night immobilizing the car John. |

Hi mate, Yes Clifford are a pain in the bum aspecially the new ones. I had one on my very first Audi 80 this was back in the days when they were built pretty good! But know I have had a Cobra Alarm Fitted to my Audi Coupe it has all you require, and is very reliable never had any issues with it! Price are not stupid like Clifford Alarms! Good Luck with the Hunt Mate
