Indeed, and the reproduction ones will probably fit like socks on a rooster.

The bottom line is - anything can be rebuilt and indeed rebuilt properly with enough skills and shillings. If we were looking at a Ferrari 250GTO it’d be a given that it would be rebuilt and properly. Sadly, Ur Quattros don’t command such value and will therefore be exposed to fiscal and talent limits and all of the fun that brings to the next poor unsuspecting sap.
