Numbers were down for Classic Audi members but that boils down to cost of petrol and travelling as a lot of us are heading to the German Classics car show in Wigan this weekend so 2 weekends on the trot will work out expensive.

Only criticism from myself was our club plot as such soon got over crowded by the 2 clubs either side of use so we had no choice than to double park which gave the overall feeling of us having the smallest club there, which was a shame as there was a huge area we could have moved to and had a nice line up but we didn't want to move from our spot near to the trees! It saved Rod a job of putting the gazebo back up!
If the club plots had have been marked out, we wouldn't have had several of the new modern thingies (A series wotsits!) park next to us. As it was, it looked like 3 clubs had merged in to one.

I'd certainly work on marking out specific plots for clubs to avoid this scenario if possible???

Other than that, well done once again!

Also, is there any other way of luring people in to the show 'n' shine?

The VW scene always has a massive entry for this type of thing but the Audi scene always seems not to embrace it as much. It's the same at Audi Driver International. I always see plenty of cars on club stands and they are more than worthy of being in the show n shine but prefer to stay with their group but there seems to be some reluctance to put it in to the show n shine arena.
Perfectly valid points. Please allow me to hopefully answer them.

Marked out club pitches. I did plan on doing that, however as I never really have a clue of how many cars each club is going to have it becomes difficult. No point i allocating a huge plut for only 5 or 6 cars and vice versa with the larger clubs. It is a fine balance of spreading people out and cramming people in that I obviously havent got just right yet. Maybe next year I should send club stand passes, at least that way I will have a rough idea of how much space to allocate.

Show & Shine Agreed...the VW scene does attract a bigger s&s field but then again the vw scene is bigger than the Audi scene in general. I did toy with the idea of leaving the s&s entrants with their specific clubs and get an idependant body to go around and find them and judge them. That might well be the course of action I will take next year.

Valid points that I hope I have answerd matey
