ABY AND ADU.Difference??

What is the difference,between the two engine set ups?
How can you get more HP,out of an ABY?

There is, in raw form, hardly any difference...

I had ABY S2 Avant for 7 years, but my knowledge is limited, however, I picked up a bit from the S2 Forum (great bunch), so, if you've serious quesions, that's the place to ask questions.

I have picked up a little bit (I think):-

ABY absolute limit with standard Turbo is 300 bhp.

RS2 has bigger Turbo, Injectors, different Exhaust Manifold etc etc:-

In summary Biggyin, it's easy to make an ABY into RS2 spec if you've got the money and inclination! But ABY limit is 300bhp without some surgery.

Thought about myself many times!!!!!

ADU is the RS2 Engine, ABY is the 230 BHP "overboost" S2 Engine.

ABY is S2 ADU is RS2.

Same engine apart from a few subtle mods like the Turbo, Injectors, Inlet, Exhaust Cam, ECU and some Porsche badges.!!......

Hmmm... Sort of...

The ABY limit on standard turbo (K24) will make circa 300bhp, but with bigger Turbo, injectors, intercooler etc will make up to 400bhp+, I've been in a 420bhp one, with standard bottom end.... BUT.... And it's a big but, the bhp isn't really the issue, torque is, for the engine will bend it's rods at this sort of power if the torque isn't controlled. So conventional wisdom rightly says circa 350bhp on standard rods... Get Scat rods and you're away... The old girls will take the bigger power without major issue.

Yes, same cc and internally almost identical to all other 20v's...
