Default Donnington 7th March

I've just received this email from Club Lancia Sport. Don't know much about it but it did cross my mind maybe the organisers might like to hear from classic-audi if there was any support from it here?

Dear Stuart

STOP PRESS: SUPPORT DONINGTON CIRCUIT SUNDAY MARCH 7th

We need as many members and supporters as possible to support the owners of Donington Park Circuit to put the place on the map.

Here's a section we've copied from the www.savedonington.co.uk website and why Club LanciaSport are mailing this to you today.

"I’m sure you are aware of the damage caused to the track, after the extremely ill-judged intentions to redevelop the site to host Formula 1.

Well, after several weeks of media interest and thousands of people showing their support for the circuit, the owners of Donington Park have been so impressed, they wish to show their appreciation by turning the 7th March into a major event.

Despite the extremely short notice, and the disrepair of the facilities, they are doing all they can to make it a day to remember."

Club LanciaSport are planning to have a stand there and would like YOU and YOUR LANCIA - full member of Club LanciaSport or not - to make Sunday 7th March a great day of support for motorsport at Donington.

We've been asked to advise how many cars will be coming.

Please go to http://www.lanciasport.com/forum/index.php?topic=2613.0 and post your intention to come in the "Save Donington" post.

We've copied this notice to Donington management to make them aware that Club LanciaSport are planning to come in force and just how many people intend to make the day.

More info coming as the details emerge.

It's short notice, it's a great cause - and we'd like to add our support to the project with a strong turnout.

We look forward to seeing you

Stringing gillett up by his testicles and having a pound a pop, biblical style, stoning with him would soon raise that. I'd come up and have a tenners worth.
