Default Advice on bumpstops for lowered suspension

Right then, the struts on my C3/C4 frankensuspension have the following bumpstops:

4A9512129 rear
4A0412131 front

The rear ones are falling apart, while the front ones look OK.

However, the struts they are on are lowered by 35mm (Weitec).

I am trying to find some bump stops which would be a replacement, but suitable for lowered cars.... rather than just cutting down originals, I'd rather have something designed properly.........

Ideally polyurethane.

Does anybody know the dimensions of the C4 bump stops, so I can see if I can get "generic" ones (i.e. Spax, Superflex etc...), overall length and hole diameter would be good.

Cheers
Steve

you might be aswell using normal ones......change suspension travel and hydraulic damper travel by all means...but....'bump travel' is 'bump travel'....if you change it you might bump something...

But if the suspension travel is now 150mm, not 185 as it was before, the bump stops will have to be shorter..... else it would be using the bump stops as suspension instead of the springs.???

Spoke to Weitec, they said to get the bump stops from Audi.

The rear ones are mashed beyond belief, and this is a common problem from urS4/S6 owners too......
