we still have an actively used ducking stool on the village green if you fancy booking it and some stocks. An arrow wipes the smile off the face quicker than greased weasel sh*t whereby a ducking stool shows the complete expression right from the look that says ' my feet are cold' to the ' i now cannot breathe' look.

My shooting would put a smile on their face cos I'd probably miss! I ain't that good!!

I know you live in Shropshire like, but do you have things like electricity and telephones over your way yet? I mean, having stocks still in the village green is soooooooooooooo last year!!!

The last time I walked a cow to Market Drayton to pay the rent ( in groats ) i walked under some straange wires hanging off poles. That was just before my mate went past waving at me on the hay ride he'd scrounged to get to town.
