£1500 is the minimum he said he'd take..... cannot believe the price for the state and you can get very little for these.
A friend of mine had one ( and it was the injected version - much more desirable) and he says it just fell apart around him.
I could go for a late injected/Storm version !!
If it wasn't truly immaculate there would be a divorce though!

Did you mean £1500 OR £15,000 , the auction is already up to £2550 ? Is this one not some sort of injection or is a carb version? Engine bay doesn't seem to look like the carb version of most VW/Audi cars ?

it is carb, you can see coolant hoses going to auto-choke. I see the fuel thing(can't recall it's name?....looks a bit like a filter but it's not.) bolted to the cam cover has been by-passed?

Lovely car.

The listing looks a bit scammy to me though.

Call me cynical but the pics are copyrighted to a detailers in Yorkshire and the seller is light on feedback and based in Wales. ??

Ad is very light on detail too.

Thats a good spot John, checked out the schematic and its described as a vapour eliminator/fuel tank depending on the engine code. Item 15
