I feel passionately about this country being able to decide things for itself.
I dont appreciate intereference by people such as Herman Van Rompuoy, Manuel Barrosso or the sour faced Martin Shultz, especially after we were never consulted on being a part of this EU dictatorship. If you feel the way I do, then please, sign the petition, send it onto your facebook friends, twitter it to whoever feels stifled by Brussels and our political elites, just make your voices heard, I need 5 signatures minimum for it to go live. https://petition.parliament.uk/petit...5ZrgP2zjK4fR7g Last edited by 4v6; 22-02-16 at 11:02 AM. Anyone reading this should be out per say if they know whats been going on. Why? Cameron has only ever told lies about pretty much every big and important topic since before the 2010 election and the leopard has not changed his spots,he's lying through his back teath as per usual and as ever cannot be trusted. He's trying to hoodwink scare and cajole you into voting yes with his fear tactics.
Lets just analyse that for a moment. So we the British people who proudly use the Lion as a symbol of our identity of being British should cower down and believe we cannot make our own decisions and destiny. What a load of rubbish Cameron speaks about a load of issues especially this one with his scare tactics! So Immediately we vote to to leave BMW are going to say to there biggest market outside Germany that they won't sell to us.Their economy would go bust if they decided to not sell us all their BMW's,Audi's,VW's,Lamborghinis,Seat's etc etc etc.Not to mention all the many German Kitchen appliances we all love to buy here in the Uk. They have far far far more too loose in monetary and trade terms if we left as they export to us British far far more than we export to them! All this nonsense about collaboration can only happen if we're in the EU over issues of defence, crime is complete rubbish. Imagine if the boot was on the other foot and we the British more or less ruled the EU like Germany and France do. Imagine how the Germans would would feel if we decided i to make policies that would weaken the German car market. Procrastination allround and shouting from the roof tops would be the result. It's too late for us though on several industries that have been decimated, our fishing industry is but one. Our country cannot take the level of imigration currently running at 350,000 people a year.So every 3 years at least a million come.We cannot cope with this on our small island of ours. It's time to take control of our own borders once more! It's time to get out and stand on our own 2 feet and make Britain great again! Last edited by vorsprung durch technik; 21-02-16 at 01:03 PM. |

Norway and Switzerland seem to be doing OK outside EU...
EU has outlived itself and I don't think we will ever see a United States of Europe... Denmark is only waiting for UK to leave, we don't want to be the first to leave "the party" ![]() |

One of the things I feel most strongly about is the erosion of national identity. Some parts of the country are virtually unrecognisable from not that long ago. All that camoron harps on about is economics, what about loss of identity?? Economies suffer slumps and spikes but once we lose our "Britishness", it`ll be gone for good.

If we take this ridiculous undemocratic EU situation to it's ultimate conclusion.
We would head full on into a federal Europe. We would have everything controlled from Brussels. Our MEPs would be our elected representatives. Our MEPs in a second tier of government would elect a leader. The leaders of the 28 member states would be the first tier of the EU government and they would elect a European President Therefore the EU leaders should stand up and declare their hands to phase out our and other countries existing Members of Parliament because we don't need them! I wonder how many MPs would vote for that, Cameron would because he's after a job in Brussels like Kinnock & Co.

The unanswered question currently on my mind is this; If we vote to stay in, eventually we will become a state of the EU, owned by and run by them, since thats the case why on earth would we require parliament. the house of lords and all the other hangers on in the commons?
We could get rid of them and have Brussels run everything...... Just thought Id put a positive spin on voting remain.... ![]() ![]() |

I will most certainly voting to leave. I'm British and it's in my DNA not to be dictated to, especially by a shower of unelected, pompous, unaccountable and corrupt foreigners.
I'm pleased that this, a motoring forum, has allowed this thread. For several months now another forum of which I am a member (Mustang Owners Club) has banned this type of thread as it might be 'racist' or whatever. I hope this thread continues in a meaningful and constructive manner. Alan |
