Drivers side wing, B3 80/90 (86-91)

Hi all,
Due to a neighbour hitting my 90 last night,
I Need an ORIGINAL FACTORY FITTED GALVANISED or NOS drivers side wing for a B3 Audi 80 or 90 (86-91). ASAP.
Wings off of Coupes, cabs and B4 80's, are different.
Colour not important, as long as it has not started to rust at the arch yet.
I do not want a pattern replacement panel, as they are made from recycled Datsun's, and I'm pretty sure most of you remember what happened those if you got them wet...........

It's usually always someone else who damages our cars. Sorry to hear that,this sort of thing drives me round the bend. I do have a question though i can understand pattern wings but why NOS Audi wings no good?

Yes, the nos wings, should in theory fit first time, they are not however galvanised like the factory fitted stuff! (Genius move by Audi, as they could sell more replacement wings if they don't last as long)

If it comes to it and I cannot get a factory fitted wing that has not started corroding yet, I will have no choice but take a nos wing.

I am trying to get an original factory fitted wing, have pm'd Phil as I know he has a few cars laying about. (just waiting on a reply)

Failing that I will, or rather the guy that hit my car will pay you for the wing lol.

Put a price on wing and shipping to N.I anyway, and I will let you know one way or the other.

Hope you find one Dan, i was desperate to replace my rusty wing with a genuine factory part for the same reasons, took a few months but got there (got the other side too and put it in the loft!!)

Good luck and hope its sorted readily, nothing worse than when its nothing down to yourself.

It is very frustrating, especially dealing with folk with the attitude that it is just an old car........

They don't understand, that I have done without and suffered beans on toast for weeks on end at times to keep the old girl on the road

You shouldn't worry about quality of metal of aftermarket wings, unless you're going to use them as bare metal. It's the paint that gives [or not] durability, metal itself could only rust for longer and shorter time until it's perforated. You should worry about geometry, at least when it's chinese aftermarket part.
The same applies to rust.
