A4 2.7 or 3.0 tdi avant

a good friend of mine is looking advice on buying a 07/08 tdi avant, both are available with 100/120k miles so question is which one ?

bit of a no brainer if the 2.7 was only fitted with the multronic gearbox like it was in the A5.

3.0 every time

The 2.7 TDi will be Front Wheel Drive, whereas the 3.0 TDi is Quattro - so bit of a no brainer really - go for the 3.0 TDi Quattro

sorry my mistake, the 2.7 tdi is a 07 allroad 6 speed auto with 80k mls, and the 3.0 tdi quattro avant auto is 08 with 110k mls both seem in top condition

3.0 litre Quattro TDI, then get a DPF delete and remap

It'll go like the clappers then :-)
