Default Whats it worth, and is anyone interested
Vehicle Make : Audi
Vehicle Model : 1993 coupe 2.0 16v
Price : £offers
Location : warwickshire
Additional Details : V5C (Logbook) ,MOT'd

Hi,

Unfortunately due to lack of any spare time at the moment I am going to have to sell my coupe. I treated myself to this in may last year as a weekend toy. Since then I have not had many chances to use it.

The car has done 180k with bits of history / receipts but not full. I have just collected it from having its mot this evening - I was a little worried about this as it was the first mot since I had owned it. It failed on a CV boot and a bulb which the garage have now done.

As the title suggests I am not sure what this is worth, I will have lost money since I bought it in may. I will post up some new pictures at the weekend.

I would criticise the car on the following points:

Driver's seat is starting to wear - I have a replacement seat which I have not had chance to swap over yet.

I have a set of 5 10 spokes to replace the aftermarket wheels - 1 or 2 tyres require replacement and the wheels could do with a refurb.

The rear bumper has lacquer peel and both bumpers have minor scrapes on the corners.

I'm welcome to offers and would love to sell this to someone on here - I really don't have time for ebay time wasters!

Hard one with prices all over the bloody place really eh! Three years ago, with high-ish miles probably £5-800 now maybe £8-1200?? It's a bit weird because low miles cars have inevitably been sitting rotting somewhere for years, or have been doing short regular journeys on a cold engine their whole life, or have had a clock change.
If it's on the road at least you know it works! Looks nice. Sell it for what you want for it. start off at three grand and work your way down.
Coxy does valuations for people so he'd know!!

'High mileage' but 12 months ticket and looks very presentable inside and out so I agree with misfire, but only if you leave those wheels on. If you put the 10 spokes on the fact that they require a refurb but more importantly 2 of the tyres aren't good may keep the value down. How about replacing them with a matching pair of good used tyres?
Although come to think of it can you still buy used tyres???

Hi, a change in circumstances means this has to go fairly quickly!

I have some more pictures of 'the bad bits' but dont know how to put them straught on here. I will put the links below.

I would really like £700 for the car as it stands - If it sells to somebody on here then I would throw in the spare full interior I have and also a set of 10 spoke 15" alloys (2 tyres needed).

Apart from the few marks I have pictured the only other issue I am aware of is that when first started from cold the car doen not like to tick over you have to hold the revs for the first few minutes - this has only happened since the emmsions were adjusted for the mot?

If you have any questions or would like any more pics etc just ask me. Thanks John

Hi All,

I am now desperate for the space so it will go on Ebay on Sunday (I hate selling cars on Ebay).

Before it goes on there I thought I would post the same advert on here in case somebody is interested for around the £600 mark?

For sale is my 1993 Audi Coupe, 2.0 16V, this car is an 'L' registration however the private plate 'K222JME' is included in the sale.

I have owned this car since April 2014 - it is only for sale due to needing the space. This car has always been garaged since I have owned it and I have never taken it out in the wet.

The car is MOT'd until Jan 30th 2016 and is currently SORN for the winter. I have the service book with some stamps in and also a folder of receipts from previous owners. I will briefly list service / receipt details below:

*5/11/1994 - Service - 10237 Miles
*23/8/1995 - Service - 20070 Miles
*27/4/1996 - Service - 30230 Miles
*15/1/1997 - Service - 39940 Miles
*12/11/1997 - Service - 48997 Miles
*10/11/1998 - Service - 58330 Miles
*25/11/1999 - Service - 68391 Miles
*15/8/2001 - Service and Cambelt change - 77794 Miles
*4/1/2002 - Service - 87071 Miles
*10/6/2002 - Service - 96763 Miles
*28/11/2002 - Service - 106478 Miles
*12/8/2003 - Service - 124296 Miles
*21/8/2003 - New Radiator Fitted
*26/7/2005 - Replace cambelt and tensioner - 145548 Miles
*16/6/2006 - Service and Cambelt Change - 151892 Miles
*25/10/2010 - Replace catylytic converter - 163878 miles
*4/1/2011 - Service - 166301 Miles
*16/12/2012 - Service - 174247 Miles
*16/2/2012 - Cat back stainless exhaust fitted
*23/9/2013 - Service - 177041 Miles

Since I have owned the car I have had 2 new engine mounts fitted. I have also fitted remote central locking.

The car is in a nice condition with a few marks here and there. It is fitted with 17" alloy wheels with good tyres all round (1 was new for the MOT). Also included in the sale is a complete matching interior with door cards and a set of original 15" alloy wheels and tyres (2 new tyres are required on these).

Sorry for boring anyone and thanks for reading, John

I realised how gutted I was yesterday when I took it out the garage and washed it!
