Default Is my car worth more in bits??

So this Audi 100 I have bought the head gasket has just gone aswell as a couple of other bits that looks like it's bodged over yo sell on.

So my dilemma, it's with a mechanic I know to have a look at it, told him no rush as it's still 2 weeks to my next payday and after Christmas etc.

If the head is cracked then I'm not going to find another and that also cancels out getting another engine for it.

So is it worth more to sell on to somebody as a parts car or break it??

Sorry to say that most of our cars are probably worth more in bits!

Yep, probably. If there is enough idiots who are buying these parts for "price for used part two times lower than for new one - grab a bargain!" prices. Otherwise the only such cars are old S-cars - I'm calculating that the threshold, below which breaker is surely getting his money back by breaking S2 or UrS4 should be around 2k euros. While car like mine is literally scrap heap - contains almost nothing expensive.
