As the title. Keep reading lots of info along the lines of "late cars have m14" etc, but I can't find anything definitive.
So does anyone actually have any solid info on any changover from m12 to m14 - dates, models, even the reason they made the change?! Not ideal for me to whip a bolt out right now so hopefully someone can help :-) |

M14.
ETKA says the last coupe with M12 bolts was with VIN number 8B-M-014 413, which left conveyor 30.06.1991. For the saloons changeover was together with change from B3 to B4, although we can't rule out that some B4's weren't fitted with leftover parts. If you want to be double sure - M14 bolt requires 21 mm wrench, M12 19 mm - nut seems to be bigger. |
