Default Leaking Washer Bottle

As you can see in the picture water is running down the outside of the washer bottle on my Audi 100. It looks like it is coming from around what I guess is a sensor fitted at the bottom of the bottle.

I can wiggle it in but I am not sure if I pull hard on it if it will come out so I could try resealing it with something, or if I will just break it and make things worse. Would I be better off trying to seal it in place

Any advice gratefully received.

Yep, I think it's just a rubber bung/washer thing holding it in, I'll go check but I'm pretty sure you can just pull it out, and grease it up maybe with something which won't melt anything! Give us a minute and I'll check a spare bottle.

Well just had a look for the bottle, it must have gone on a bonfire I think as it was cracked. but I think you can ease them out.

Careful you don't rip yer rubber and use some lube if attempting insertion, especially if you're still half asleep.
