Default Red CQ

Today, Heading South into Worthing on A24 about 1pm, flashed and waved at the RallyRep, then heading north again at about 3pm (I assume it's the same car).. (Didn't flash or wave at the Freelander!!)..

Yep, Findon Valley...

I'm surprised you've not seen it before, the previous owner lived in Patcham and his daughter and grandson lived in Findon Valley. He had it as a daily for 10 years from when he got it as a trade-in when he owned Hillbarn Garage in Lancing. It took 6 years of asking to get it from him,I bought it on the day he retired!

Up until 1993 I lived in Sompting Rd, and there was a chap who lived in Northbrook Rd who owned a Red CQ with after market alloys. We'd chatted a couple of times as we clearly had a similar interest and lived 500yds apart... i wonder if that was the part-ex at Hill Barn Garage...?

Before mine turned up at Hillbarn Garage it was owned by someone in Little East Street in Broadwater and before that by the first owner,a business in the Guildford area(company car).
