Type 43 1982 100CS & 1980 Audi GL5E

Two Type 43 classic Audis to be sold together:

1. Audi 100 CS in silver/ blue. Automatic first registered in Aug. 1982 bought in 1994.
2. Audi 100 GL 5E in light green. Automatic first registered in Oct. 1980, bought in 1987/8.

As some members might remember from some of my earlier posts difficulty in finding parts is still proving to be an endless, highly frustrating and above all costly and time-wasting hassle mainly because I've always hated and been useless with all things mechanical. Consequently I've now had more than enough and finally, albeit very reluctantly, decided to sell both cars.

Sentimental I know but really sad after having had them and enjoyed them both for so long, still I've lots of wonderful and incredibly reliable memories and pics of both to always look back on, especially my ultra rare "cheesecutter" two tone right hand drive 100CS which is probably the last unrestored one on the planet (!), so I really hope they both eventually go to good homes and are soon back on the road. Love to hear of how things progress too…

Both cars are stored near Okehampton in Devon and are still the same as in the pics with a little more rust all round since then obviously, however neither have ever been restored or had any road accident damage whilst in my possession at all. Unfortunately the rear nearside door on the GL5E has had a dent sometime during its long storage but as it's rusted it'll have to be replaced anyway.

SORN on the 100CS but still unregistered on the 100GL5E.
