Q-plates are for cars whose age can't be proved; he says in the ad the V5 reg date is Mar 86 which I'd assume is the date it was registered in the UK and must be minimum 3 years after it was first reg'd in Germany. For whatever reason he must have been unable to provide German reg paperwork.

with an army base nearby, We have had quite a few Q reg vehicles given an age-related plates, just need to do some homework.
In this case you would need an anorak who could read the build sheet in the boot.

Think the form is a V55/5

I see a lot going for it,
1/ No sunroof = no rot in roof (hopefully)
2/ Dashboard isn't cracked in the middle,
and 3/ it isn't ...... Grey !

Sounds like Micky is getting too old for such projects

Thanks to the OP for listing this on here otherwise I'd never have known about this car.

I guess it will take quite a bit of recommissioning to get it back on the road again, but it's got to be worth it hasn't it?

Re: the Q-plate. Wouldn't a birth certificate from Audi sort out that problem?

5s is harder then 5t to get parts
