Thumbs up North Wales drive & lunch - 08/09/13

Details:
Date: Sun 08/09/13
Time: 10:00
Meeting point: Cafe R, Ruthin Craft centre LL15 1BB

Anybody in the North West / North Wales up for a Sunday drive out through North Wales soon?

Provisional date is 8th September and the general plan would be to meet for breakfast / cuppa, then head out on a journey via some of the best driving roads towards Betws y coed for lunch. At that point, we could head northwards for the coast either via the Conwy, Ogwen or Nant Peris pass.

The route would probably see us head though, Clocaenog, Cerrig y drudion (EVO triangle), possibly Bala, then up to Ffestiniog and Betws y coed.

There will be plenty of opportunities for photos along the way too, so no excuses for no Sept '14 calendar entries Just add your name to the list if you'd like to come!

It turns out that this is on the same day as the QoC meet, which is 10am at the Ponderosa!

I've spoken to Steve Edwards who's happy for us to have a joint meet & drive out. I'll amend the details in the first post to suit.

Definitely up for this & good choice of meeting point; we could have a 'cloud' theme for the day's pics as the sky will probably be like in the photo

Superb. Mart, I'll bring the bumper, you just bring the 2x m10 bolts and some number plate screws, we'll fit it at the ponderosa Think you can tempt Kirky & Wrighty along to this one?

I'll be pushing it to have my 80q through an MoT in time for it, so will play it safe with the 200.

Nice one. Sounds well that old boat anchor of an engine eh? Haven't even looked at the ignition timing yet either!
