Thats a fair bit for what might well be a completely knackered engine. They don't tend to fail well when cambelt goes and tends to indicate it's been poorly looked after

Could be lucky and looks clean everywhere else, if you know of a 20Vt engine going cheap , possibly worth a gamble

The seller knows more about the issue than he is letting on..

Just like normal faulty items on ebay - the disclaimer "I am not a mechanic and do not know what is wrong"..

There is an engine on the S2 forum for £1100...
