Default WHERE is the Remote Positive Pole in urS6 Engine bay???

Hey guys.
I've had my urS6 for over 15 years now, and i've only JUST found out about the topic post!

The handbook says there is a Remote Positive Pole/Post with a rubber sleeve and cap located near the offside rear of the Engine Bay.
Used for jump starting (to or from the vehicle), so one doesn't have to keep removing the rear bench seat.

It definitely isn't there!!!
Anyone know where it is?

Cheers.

On the V8, there is a plastic box, squarish, approximately halfway between the suspension turret and the slam panel. I'd guess it won't be much different. Also, there is (again, on the V8) a negative post on the suspension turret.

I have seen these terminals described in the handbook - but never managed to find them under the bonnet. Lunar Wolf - please let me know if you find them

Hi
When I had my UrS6 I went mad looking for it as like you say, the handbook is quite specific as to where it should be
It's obviously the Holy Grail because I couldn't find it either
I came to the conclusion that it was not fitted to UK spec cars to keep my sanity

Looked on all three of mine, and came to same conclusion as Blackrat (either I was insane, or it wasn't there).

I'm getting pretty quick at taking the rear seat out ...
