Default German classic car show 2012 , haigh hall , wigan

This is an excellent show with many thinks to do , there was a display of many quatties with the first press car that Audi had being present and owned by Phil Jameson , food stalls, trade stalls, beer tent etc and many awards giving with the Gordon Whitworth trophy being given to the best Ur on the day , this was won by a club member too
All monies raised go towards Phil's chosen charity with approx 10k raised last year , the venue is very scenic too and it is free

Gordon Whitworth trophy

Some of the quatties on display

I forget who won the Gordon Whitworth trophy with some Lago thing, but it was the highlight of last year for me an excellent show - highly recommended and the variety of all things German was superb from Mercedes-Benz (Best Stand, last Year) to Opel's and even NSU's.

Shame its the same weekend as Audi's in the Park, but for me its a no brainer
- see ya there

Many thanks to JJ for putting this thread on.Its early yet,but all of the clubs that attended last year have expressed their eagerness to attend this year and there are 3 other clubs asking can they be part of the 2012 show.
Looking good.
