damm, a review with one possible outcome is hardly a review is it!

You never know, you may get promotion, company car, 6 weeks holiday a year, medical scheme and company pension!

it's a "possible outcome" which I think employers are obliged to have to tell you upfront. However thats just one outcome of any number and it doesn't mean you will lose your job, you may be suprised.

Whatever happens good luck and hopefully all will go well for you

Well, That didn't go well at all..

The letter said it was a probationary performance review - was it bo11ocks! Their mind was made up from the minute go, this was an outting, no matter what I said about performance and providing proof all I got as a response was "Inadmissable, Inadmissable" I even pointed out that it was a Performance review only to be advised that my points were irelevant to the topics in hand 1/ Desparaging remarks about a manager that's "supposed to work with me" - but didn't! Couldn't do his own job let alone mine! and 2/ On training I came across as negative, which meant the person that gave that opinion was a poor judge of character as I was quoted as not willing to cooperate during the training - in effect there was little for me to do as most of my data was preloaded by someone else therefore all I'd be doing was duplicating their efforts. I pointed out that since the training I was the lead on the actual input of data - so how was I being negative seeing as I loaded the most without hitch or complaint??? A complete load of Twaddle!! Not a happy bunny... Now we're back to trawling the market again and going throught the interview process.

On the plus side, knowing that this was coming I didn't hang around and started generating leads for employment... here's hoping that it won't be too soon before another job appears....

Coxy - are you looking for drivers up here in Scotland??

Onwards and upwards....

Sounded like that was administrative dismissal dressed up to be something else.
Sorry to hear that, good luck finding a better company to work for
