Porsche have published a booklet (much to the annoyance of Browns spin doctoring Labour tax grab government) proving and disproving some of the bullshit surrounding the recent CO2 taxes...

Of all the GLOBAL CO2 that is produced from man-made reasons the scientific evidence shows that we actually generate .... how much in total???

From ALL the man-made CO2 less than 12% is ALL human transport - a figure which including aviation, all planes, trains, lorries, trucks, buses, vans and cars... Over 50% of man-made output is from power stations and ANOTHER 35% from commerce.

But Ironically from the 100% of all CO2 the man-made portion is only a minuscule 3.5%!. The rest is natural and would happen regardless of if man was here or not...

Also Porsche highlighted progress made in reducing the real health damaging pollutants from Petrol engines...

In 1996... a 2.0 litre engine emitted 35.00g/km of hydrocarbons, 89g/km of carbon monoxide and 0.34g/km of Nitrogen Oxides

In 2004... a 3.8 litre engine emitted 0.03g/km of hydrocarbons, 0.4g/km of carbon monoxide and a minuscule 0.03g/km of Nitrogen Oxides...

You could quite happily commit suicide with our quattro, whilst Klausy was following it during some enthusiastic driving today, he radioed through to Chris Taylor (yes we have radios)... That it smelt highly toxic from where he was sat!
