Default North West Meet - Idea's !!

There are a lot positive vibes floating about on other threads mainly on Tanni's 80 Estate thread about organising a meet over Warrington/Chester way in the near future.

I am assuming that people are thinking in terms of a Sunday, like the Yorkshire Noggin and Natters.

Eric (Nogin) has very kindly said we can meet at Nogsports, so we need suggestions for a possible date and I would suggest, a nearby venue for food and refreshment.

This could be very well supported I feel, so over to you for your ideas and suggestions

As per my previous conversation with you Dave at the Natter and Noggin at Yorkshire, I am trying to organise with the kind permission of Smith Knight Faye Audi Garage a celebration of 30 years of the audi quattro which will be hosted by them and us at their showroom.

They are willing to do this for us as long as we can show up in as many Quattros as possible. We are hoping for approx 20 - 30 cars in total to come mostly quattros but showing Audi throught the years all audi's will be welcome and I am going to visit him in the last week of June to get more info. If there is enought interest then I will try and get a hog roast, I can get beer from the cash and carry or indeed twist Dean's arm into gettting it provided.

Also maybe a donation or raffle with some Audi goodies and maybe a top prize. If you are interested in doing this then please let me know and when I see him I can tell him approx how many of our fantastic audis may attend.

Please let me know what your car is so I know as I dont know many of you as yet but I'm working on it.

Many thanks in advance, and fingers crossed you think it's a good idea.

as discussed on the phone 'totty I'll try and be there in Archie BUT a Saturday would be prefered otherwise we have another late night driving back to Scotland on a Sunday , at least on a Saturday we can relax and socialise more instead of heading off like some bandicoot. Depending on funds I'll try and coax Helen to bring the RS4 or the cabrio S4, since we both have a few road taxes to cough up at this months end and a bill from Grizz to sort the clutch out on RS.

Your offer of accomodation is appreciated thank you

(CANT DO THE 4-7TH or 19th JUNE weekends)

there is a big Scottish dealer show planned as well but no confirmed dates as of yet, depends on a car being ready ( not mine unfortunately) lol

this will take priority for me but available most weekends Sharon.

Sounds like a good enough excuse for a meet up!

For future meetings etc, does anyone know of any decent pub with a good sized car park in the NW, probably not too far from M6/M62/M56 kind of area???
