For those that are to young to remember them first time around, they were shite. Simple, cheap, flakey transfers, poor build, ripped seams type shite.... If they lasted 6 months on the school run then the owner deserved being bullied... They were tragic..... And because of that, they're now cool...

yup, we used it as a wrecking ball to whack all our chums with - the strap would break quite easily - then the next step was to drag it all the way home on the 4 metal studs until they wore through and thennnnn drag it againnnnn until the arse of it was full of holes and burning holes in your jotters!!

great memories indeed . . .

Mine must have been tougher as the arse didn't wear through.

Me with mine, first day of school back in 1975:

I finally threw it away five years ago and it still stunk of the meat and potato stew I made in home ec in the first week or so

lol... that was my first thought.... Dragged out of bed early, dressed up to the nines, photographed, then dumped at a strange place with intimidating internees... You can't beat that 'first day of school' experience for metal scarring ....

That vulnerable look was a big hit with my older sisters friends, they were all over me like a rash, which I remember with more clarity and fondness than my old skool bag
