Electric window cable
Morning all.
The next time anyone has a window regulator apart for a B2 front window, please can you measure the total length of the cable-including the bit wrapped around the drum in the motor. Please can you also test if it is possible to pull (and push!!) the hexagon cable ends through the plastic slides that fit into the motor. Obviously if it is a very tight fit, then pulling through will be easier, so it’s really asking if the hexagon ends fit through easily. I think that the cable is assembled in to the mechanism with the large center-positioned hexagon, and then the hexagon ends are clamped on after being threaded through. Thanks!!
