heres a photo of the Boxfresh with Kenda K52's fitted. Much better than the tyres that it came with.

reading all those comments takes me back to working in bike shops in the 80s. i was into racing bikes and still am but those bmx bikes went down a storm at the time as did missing front teeth and scabby knees and elbows! i think the haro freestyler was THE one to have with Redline right up there too.

oh and Vans!! i had a pair of red ones with white soles.

actually very similar to the puma mid tops that bolly just treated me to - she says they go with the quattro

Cor what a relief I brought my 4 year old boy a diamondback and it really got me wanting one again.
I started off with a german type of chopper with a back pedal brake then had a grifter, got me BMX which was a Muddy Fox then progressed onto Motorcross.
Just want to get back on a BMX but thought I might be getting on a bit, after seeing this thread then maybe not

Nice one mate. Register at bmxmuseum.com, it's a great site with plenty to look at. I like Burners as you can probably tell but I started off with a Pirahna back in 1983.

Swapped yer pedals, different seat, fitted headstock and crossbar pads, added stickers on yer forks and seatpost

burner world is a good site to visit as well. loving riding the old bike's again , Just bought a yellow GT PRO PERFORMER just like Eddie Fiola rode in the early 80's.
