And you will be back on the road in no time at all ......Simple.... If that garage you use has been going for that long they wouldn't off needed you to measure the rad but hay ho they all work differently. And don't forget it is best to replace any old and knackered bolts, clips ect to nice shiny new one's.

It's easy when ya know how so stop picking on silly little spelling mistakes and play nicely for once . Life is to short

Report me if you wish I don't care I was merely voicing what people thought last time but they wouldn't say .
So when did you last sort one ? and why do you pick on leggy ? you could have been positive about the bolts and clips but instead you had to be nasty again and not for the first time ! So why not say what YOUR problem is and get it all sorted instead of just having digs at somebody ? I would have thought the girls would stick together on here to be honest and don't understand why it is not that way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've actually done quite a few including on a land rover , tractor and the famous gelbus which sadly is no longer. I've also done exhaust, breaks and much more so ya I do no how to do repairs. I'm merely saying any of those I mentioned would help her find the right rad for her car without her having to find the correct number and measurements , also if she is afraid of doing any damage to him while driving him they will also deliver it to her. So it is easy and less stressful and without all banter and bad feeling's came from her private message she sent me .

Every credit to you then
My point is you don't have to keep having a dig at leggy would it not just be easier to accept when somebody is stuck ? and this all started before the radiator didn't it with a sour comment about wheels etc as you know full well ! It is beyond me how people fall out on here the way they can, and amanda jumped in straight away didn't she clever arse that she thinks she is, a friend of yours too i take it yes ? and then she got shot down by another person didn't she ! The spelling mistakes bit, well your friend started that bit too if you look !
Anyway i am not here to fall out with anybody, i just don't like seeing somebody getting a hard time when there is absolutely no need for it, so as i said, you girls should stick together so how about you all play nice !

So there, teacher has spoken.....and I quite agree with Bruce; there is plenty of space for us all to play. Some are more talented than others and sadly I fall into the semi helpless category, but I value , more than words can say , the help I've had from everyone , including Leggy.

I'm a relative new boy ( using the term "boy" very loosely! ) but think it's a shame to see cat fighting on a Forum which deserves better.

That's my two pennyworth.......onward and upward i say!

Me and Amanda has spoken once in what 10 years or so and only met once and I only welcomed her back just like many did .
I gave some easy and stressless suggestions and I don't wish to be brought into the other bickering just told them all to roll there necks in .

I've always been told if you cannot deal with banter don't give it . Case closed

IMHO if you cannot do basic maintance and repairs on a car.......a license shouldn't be issued

If you don't trust your garage to do a basic repair find one you do or even better learn how to do it yourself!
Oh ........cars are all ways female by the way!
Amanda
There was no need for the girly card reference,
If we follow your logic if you cannot do basic maintance and repairs on a car.......a license shouldn't be issued, then it's likely that 80%+ of the driving population would be driving illegally, some people haven't the desire/facilities to carry out basic maintenance, furthermore some people would not necessarily consider changing the radiator to be basic maintenance.

My son has nicknamed my cq Shadowfax and that was a stallion

No one is playing the girly card here, and nor do I need to man up thanks!
No one is disputing whether the job is difficult or not - I simply do not have enough experience/knowledge or the time for that matter (atm) to learn how to replace my boys radiator, as such, I’d rather hand my boy (it’s male, get used to it!) over to someone with the experience to do it!
No one has said that I do not trust my local garage, an Audi specialist for 30yrs+!

Furthermore, this website is a place to meet like-minded Audi enthusiasts who often share their experiences, good or bad, by way of building friendships and by way of helping each other; hence my asking ‘the guys’ for help/advice and the part number.
IMHO your response offers none of this and is yet another attempt at trying to make yourself heard on one of my threads just for the sake of it. Well huni, I’ve heard you and my response this time is this: unless you have something helpful and constructive to say, please kindly refrain from sticking your ore in to my business! – thank you!
Here we go.
