The first 2 were stonkers in their day! David will confirm.

The rest of them were low numbers because they're of the album and not released on 12" or at least i've never heard them tracks.

Always good to hear something new, quite liked the last track. Going to have another listen.

Very happy you stuck up Freeez Southern Freeez, inspired choice Bruce, Classic Brit Funk. Deserves a few of these mate.

Southern Freeze is a blinder and Keep in Touch I remember from the dance floors, great tunes. The others were ok, but never really cut it for me. A good band but I felt they never really could make their mind up if to be a Funk band or a Jazz Funk, and some stuff was really jazzy. Great Brit funk though, and massive at the time, not sure what ever happened to them.

You can hear a Nile Rodgers and Chic influence there, as so much did at the time. SF we best when they did their own thing I thought rather than use bass lines and stuff from other bands that were around.

I know many of you don't like this, but my Asian and black college friends did.

Remember walking home from the banking job back in 84 walking down the Finchley road towards the underground and heard something arresting wafting out off the record shop.
Was very happy they had a copy i held tight on the train back to Harrow.

London shops weren't shy, they'd buy in all sorts much of it underground. Still have my copy of Hashmin Al Na Fish i bought that day.
I've played it before but it's always good to see this video just to appreciate what London was like back then and how much it's changed, not always for the better.

Extremely rare recording of London life on the tube back then.

The track or elements of it could have been used in The original Terminator.
