I learned in a 1976 Harvest Gold coloured Morris Marina.
I still bear the scars of shame......

My driving instructor had a bog standard Fiesta at the time(1990), but my practice was done in my mums A reg Nova 1.3SR, which later became my first car. Thus began my long love of hot hatches.

I learnt in a 1997 Nissan Micra 1.0!

Actually a cracking little car to learn in. Did my pass plus with the same instructor and I was the first person, him included to reach 100 (km/h of course!) including the instructor! It was to complete the 'overtaking on a motorway' part. Everyone else was doing 90 so I asked what to do and he said "well you better go faster then else you won't be able to overtake!!"

Very good teacher but a total perv, used to lean over and honk the horn whilst I was driving when he saw a bit of 'crumpet' on the street!!

Mine was a little 3-box Datsun in 1979, don't know the model but I seem to remember it was brown with green interior or vice-versa, lots of photographed fake wood, proper jap snot-box of the era.
But, after 10 lessons it got me through my test.
