I know it's not the quickest way down but was gonna go down the M40 / A34 to Eastleigh then around the M27 / A27. I like that route and it's just more aesthetically pleasing than the M40. But......I will give it some thought as to the route. The quickest way will probably be the best route to save on Briggers snoring / farting routine.

Should be there barring any last minute disasters.

Talking of which, a small fleck of what looked like white paint dropped into my eye whilst under the car last night (my safety specs were on top of my head at the time)

It stuck itself to the front of my eyeball right on the edge of the coloured bit, scraping the inside of the eyelid every time I blinked

.
Repeated washing out and a cotton wool bud wouldn't shift, so I gave up and went to bed.
In the morning I woke to find my eye welded shut with gunge, eventually got it open and the offending item had gone! Tis still a bit sore though

.

Anyway, sorry to disappoint you Ian, but the Rallyrep is still on axle stands so you will have have put up with my 20V.
See you tomorrow, hopefully with 2 working eyes

Well, I'm aiming to be there for 9am, we've not really arranged a meetup point, but the usual is the McDonalds Car Park on the Portfield Roundabout about 15 mins before kick-off, so if anyones interested, 08:45 at McDonalds, close to the Madgewick Lane route into Goodwood. If your not, let me know, save me hanging about like a lost lover under Waterloo Station Clock...

Where's that then Ian ? would that be approaching from the south ? we will most likely be coming from the A286 I think !
