and I can testify how good Guy Croft engines are, he built the engine in my old Strada Abarth and that torque steered like an absolute pig!!

that's stunning and a 2 door as well. Not overly keen on the air ride, but everything can be changed back if needed. Even at £17k, that's still half the price of the polished turd from 4Star classics in the UK!

Hi All,

My "new" C2 has arrived from Dublin.

Mario has already dismantled the fuel system and the whole lot has gone off to Ken Mills at kmipetrolinjection.co.uk/ for remanufacture. Takes about 10 days. looks like it may need a new exhaust & manifold - any ideas where I might find them?

Well, the fuel injection has been sorted and now works perfectly - thanks to Mario Grech-Xerri.

Unfortunately, years of trying to start the car has resulted in it being flooded with petrol which had washed all the oil out of its little places! (I am not a mechanic!). He has sourced all the parts and is currently rebuilding the engine, suspension, wheel bearings, brakes etc. New sporty exhaust to follow.

Will update when MOT appears, hopefully in a few weeks time.

Well SPH 486 X, the Dublin Audi, is on the road!

Collected it from Mario a couple of days ago and drove home via M25 / M23. Went really well, more than happy cruising at the legal limit.

Hold up due to the DVLA sitting on the V5c for five weeks and not being able to tax it.

Off for a new exhaust next week.

Hopefully get to a show next year!
