Ironically, £2K is what Steve Sarsfield paid for it in April 1995. Someone offered him £4,600 for it in Jan 1996, and so it was sold.
At that time, the car was straight as a dye, although not mint. Just minor things like kerbing to the alloys etc.
I seem to remember Steve removing the original rear speakers, and replacing them with some 6x9s. He had his Sony XR7171 unit in it. Can't remember what he did with the Toronto.

A mate of mine bought it, its in oxfordshire now and has already set about sorting it. rear bumper off and sorting bumper iron, windows are ok but plastic clip broken on regulators. seems to overboost whilst using torque. as for paint good mate of ours has a body shop and is fussy as. But hes thinking of using fiberglass wings? Are they any better than they used to be?

I should hopefully have some pics of C911 BNW from when Steve Sarsfield owned it, soon. I shall post them on here when I get them.

I forgot to update this thread. Whilst at the Tatton park Classic Car Show last Saturday with the qOC guys, a bloke came on to the stand, and asked if anybody knew anything a bout a white quattro he owned. He then quoted the reg, C911 BNW, and I went off into anorak mode complete with a stiffy .
It turns out this guy had bought a brand new red C Plate Quattro from Massingberd of Harrogate, but there were various issues with it. So, to cut a long story short, he complained to Massingberd, and they agred to swap it for another brand new one they had in stock, this being C911 BNW. He recalled how it was stolen during his ownership, and that he sold it to a guy called Paul from Worsley, Manchester. Paul (Murray) was Steve Sarsfield's cousin, and Steve bought it from him.
It was great to talk to him about it, and he was shocked there was so much known about his old car, and was pleased to find out it still survives.

Small world.

interesting repair to the dash ....

It would look so much better if he had put the strips back on and original font number plates or is that just me ... ?

I had a white one years ago, the black stripes are absolutely necessary IMO.

Just over £20k bid.
Looks like I need to re-value mine again.
