Default Thank You !

Phew

That was nerve racking going to a tie break with Calvin !

I blame Couperman, coz he voted for AITP, an event he can't actually remember being at !

Seriously big thank you's for the support, it was an idea I tried out in the early nineties with the NSU Owners Club and it worked well for a good few years. So when I joined CA in April 2008, it was in my mind to try it again.

Recipe - good pub, good food and drink, nice row of cars, venue where children are welcome and Sunday lunch seems to be the best time to do this.

When I went to AITP in 2009 to camp with Lewis, that was the first time I had met anybody apart from Coxy before and I will never forget how welcome we were made to feel that evening and the laughs we had.

That's why the Noggin n Natter has been a success, its the quality of the people that come along and our mutual interest in the 4 rings.

This award is for you, the people who turn up and support it, all I do is book the venue and then plug it endlessly on the forum.

I've spent 25 years trying to win an award for getting pissed on my doorstep !

Finally to Calvin

AITP and the Noggin n Natters are quite different, mine for CA members for a social, whereas AITP is a full blown ALL AUDI show. For too many years Audi's tagged along to traditional VW Shows like VW Action and Stanford Hall or VW Northwest.

I can honestly say that AITP has been my favorite weekend of both 2009 and 2010, what you have created is brilliant - all you need now is a classic Audi

Your silver award from Audi Driver was so very well deserved fella

Only joking Rod, behind Emjay and Jaytee, you and Grant are the biggest supporters of the Noggin - 100% in 2010 and I love ya both for it - it even started Saturday night in September which is quite good for a Sunday lunchtime meet !
