Don't get sucked in here. The SNP have been very bad news since WW2 and the ginger girl is once again demonstrating that she doesn't understand democracy, or like it if it's not her way. The Scots had a referendum on staying in the GB knowing that there was a 50/50 chance of leaving the EU. They voted to stay in GB. Their views on EU may be different from the majority, but democracy has delivered. Remember, Churchill had it right - democracy is the worst form of government, except for all of the other options. The people who would seek to oppose this referendum result would do well to remember that. Putin is well aware of it too....

As for Boris and ALL of the others; did you really think that they had a plan? My local MP has NEVER been near my village, street or house (she is a tory) and never tried to advise anyone about this. Neither did the labour party. A plan will have to emerge, once the rhetoric has died down, which it will.

Regarding the voting blocks, the older voters have overruled the younger ones, the country side voters the citizens, the English voters the Scottish and Irish voters.

That's always a possibility with the SNP in charge up there and i found it alarming that at least 60 per cent up there voted to stay in. If your anything like as passionate as i was for a Brexit vote,then do your upmost to convince people that they are wrong to even consider to want to separate from the Union. We English and Scotts are one people end of......If anyone thinks different then their perhaps harking back to medieval times when Scotland drew on the French for backing against the English.

I really hope and pray that Scotland wants to remain as part of the United Kingdom.I just cannot understand why so many up there prefer Europe as their friend than the English.After all we the English it seams already are setting the agenda now across Europe now that we are out even more than we could when we were in it! I can understand a lot of the hatred shared up there against Westminster,the long standing feelings of dislike towards the Tories over the decades i can understand, but i don't think any Government could ever be so dictatorial towards the Scotts as Maggies lot were. Those days are long gone i believe.

Scotland is a great country and it would be an absolute tragedy if it left it's Allie the UK in favour of Europe.

No no no! Scotland had a once in a lifetime vote on staying in the UK. It voted to stay. We cannot, must never, countenance another referendum, just because the result of another nationwide debate does not suit a tiny majority. It simply shows that Sturgeon cannot ever be trusted. I do hope that my fellow citizens of the UK in the north realise this.

What we are seeing is the true colours of some of our people - if something doesn't suit them, they squeal and protest. But this is democracy and we have chosen. We must make our choice work!!!

The petitioners and whiners and whingers will settle down eventually because there is no choice. Look at Merkel's latest comments - she in particular seems to have seen this.

I copied and pasted this bit not that the other bit isn't hugely important as i hope your correct,but this picture of Facebook about sums it up for me at this present time when i think of all the moaners and whingers out there.Facebook is full of these people at the moment.
