Remember walking back from seeing my first proper girlfriend, of a few years, so walking back late after the pubs had shut from Stanmore to West Harrow a good 5 miles. Used to Pass a good few pubs and one or 2 clubs on the way home through the centre of Wealdstone and Harrow and you just had to be careful on your own.Used to skirt round what looked like could be trouble. Them days it was a bit tribal.
