I agree. The 15" Ronals transforms the looks of the Coupes and 80s/90s.

Micky, thank you for sharing your pics, love the boot fetish shot. So thoughtful, for those of us who could not attend.

great day today, good to catch up with everyone. Couldn't be arsed with the camera today so no snaps from me.

Ian Simmonds, got to wave at you but never got to say hello, many apologies

Gabe and Darren, how the hell did I end up with a new petrol tank in the back of the car for company??

Kenny, loved the human league T -shirt

Car of the day, definately Audi Dereks Rally Rep

Had to take a power nap on the way back at Strensham so landed here just in time for the X factor

Yeh, proper Human League as well! You can't beat a bit of Travelogue! I was gonna come in full on 80s gear, but I did that last week at the Breakfast Club meet. I never got to meet the illustrious Simmo, which was a shame but his ur quattro is very nice. Too many great cars to mention. The great thing about Classic Audi is the diversity of Audis. I am a big ur quattro fan, but there are a LOT of other Audis that I like too. (Not just 90 quattro Sports, either) (Or 80s Fast Fords!) Top, Top day.

BIG thanks to Coxy for the new wheels for the rally 80..

Very nice comments from a lot of folks about the 80gt and a lot of pictures been taken I think it went down rather well, even the former owner turned up to have a look at what he is missing..

no problem Derek, hope they suit the 80GT. Looking forward to seeing them on her, and without a doubt, your car was my car of the day!

We had a cracking day, superb cars and superb people, just lovely, and I mean this, lovely to stand and natter to some very special people... Really was the highlight of our 'Audi' year... Desperately sorry to Martyn for not getting more time with you, and sincere thanks for the window Detail Card... You're a star, and your car is breathtaking....

With the little-ones in tow, we spent quite a bit of time on the classic audi stand, then headed off to watch some track action... Took some video footage of Darren O'D's lap session, plus Derek and Rose out in their delightful '74 80.

Ironically though, car of the day, from the trackside went to something that wasn't even an Audi...

It was the massively understated West Engineering Porsche 911 Turbo... The car was just head and shoulders quicker than anything else on the track today.... But it made it look so effortless and controlled. Amazing machine.

I've got some video and some photos to post... Didn't take the big Nikon, so the piccies will be okay, rather than good, and the panning shots of Derek are rubbish (sorry Derek)... But the video should be good. I'll post them up when I get a chance tomorrow.

Had a stonking run back with Darren O'D and my brother in his GT, very entertaining it was too, the old girl having the odd 'belch' of fire further down the A34 and A27...

Tired now, will sort out the details tomorrow. But, once again, thank you everyone, for making the day special....
