I do facebook, but only cos I don't have to get tied in for ages having a conversation.
and in the past 2 weeks, I've got back in contact with about half a dozen old friends who I ain't spoken to since I left school!

yup. It's beyond salvage!! You'd get a set of wheels off it and maybe a semi decent lump although as it hasn't run for 11 years, can't imagine it would be in the best of health.

What a shame - I looked at getting that 200 5E in Scotland a few weeks ago but I left it too late - bet the body was good - engine not run since 1992 - can't be good! So do I stand any chance of getting hold of a pre 83' 200 or are there to many collectors out there?

sounds like you've picked one up. What did you get in the end and where did you get her from??

Here's a photo indicating the rust situation with this car - bad rot absolutely everywhere - even the middle of the roof! The engine has about 120K on it - actually looks pretty good under the bonnet. The interior is not nice. The guy wants about £150 for it - probably worth it for the trim - maybe engine as well? The headlight surrounds are better than they look!

Looking at the photo of the rear wheel, I think you'd have been hard pushed to get it shifted off his drive even if there was something on it worth saving.
Such a shame that such a nice car has been left to rot and even more so that so little can be salvaged.

And the wheels will fit a T25 with a bit of machining for the fronts......
