That's the one on Irish plates that first appeared on ebay a couple of years ago - I was interested as it was near me in Kent. It sold for around £400. The chap that bought it had it MOT'd and applied some questionable graphics (since removed) and then it was listed again on ebay after he'd had it for a few months - I think it sold for around £700 that time.

Anyone can be enthusiastic about owning a car, it does not mean they are able to care for it, look after it, or sell it for a profit.

If it had been left hand drive in the same condition in Germany it would be €3000-€4000

For anyone that wants to buy a car, yes I agree you don't get as much for your money.

For anyone who has a nice one, just sit pretty and wait for the prices to rocket

I have been struggling to get anyone to help me get this fixed up, I am just an old audi car guy, no mechanic, dont buy them for profit or gain, just like my old audi's. I did a lot of miles in 1988 in my red Cplate bright red sport- loved the car and really wanted another after selling my 95 coupe 2.6.
Some of the comments on here have been a bit brutal with "crack talk" etc - not necessary in my opinion
