Took just over a week out of my regular employment to help a long time friend out last summer whose regular'old boy' tractor driver was at a family wedding in Ireland, to help him finish combining 1290 acres of Avalon Winter Wheat. I used to help out on the farm years ago when in my late teens when I should have been at School and College!! Took this just as I'd finished the largest field on the farm and was moving to open up another field. I'd been in the saddle for 19hrs at that point and was about done in!! Cracking bit of kit with GPS satellite field mapping.
