i was the winning bidder on this car until earlier today,

the current highest bidder has 146 feedback, and of all his bids 7% of his total bids on ebay have been for this seller.....

does anyone else find this very suspiscious seeing as none of them seem to have bought/sold similar items in the past, think its just a mate bidding up the price :?

have contacted ebay now, not sure what to bid up to now , am tempted to leave it and see if he contacts me saying the guy didnt turn up.......

yes he could quite possibly contact you...then youl know for sure if it was schill/ his mate bidding, he could also be on this site! reading our comments!

that doesnt worry me tbh, as if i win i will be seeing him in person lol, just dont want to pay more for something than i have to, tempted to just leave it and wait for another

Yes definitely raise it to ebay. I have a dedicated phone number for eBay somewhere from when I was a 'premium' seller. You get to talk to a real physical person and everything! If you don't get an email response let me know and I'll give you the number.

As for the price, well only bid up to what you would genuinely want to pay! That way if the guy is bidding up his own auctions, when he comes back to you saying the last guy bailed you can go in with "well this was my maximum bid but my genuine bid has been inflated by the other guy who didn't turn up" You can tell from the bidding history who bid what so can work down on price from there.
