Could be a good one, very nice idea really. What date did you have in mind, or haven't I read it right??? Could possibly get a few of the qoc boys from my area involved then. I would be in the Coupe quattro tribute car ( ??!!!??)

It would be great if you could make it to this. As of yet no real dates confirmed having a meeting with him in June so as soon as I'll post it and fingers crossed.

This thread is getting a good response, I think once a few more ideas are shared and dates decided, we will have to create two new threads, One for the Dealership Day at Bolton Audi and one for the Northwest Noggin n Natter (or whatever you want to call it over that side of the hill)

how about the dealers on Saturday, then the noggin & natter on Sunday Hence best of both worlds?

2 birds, 1 stone....

so into July then.. weekend of 24th is the Cumbria vintage show some of us are attending.

Rich,

I can see that that would work from your point of view, but I wonder how many people would be willing to give up a whole weekend ? from my point of view it would be two trips across the pennines on consecutive days and I worry that the Baggin n Banter social meet on the Sunday may be diluted by the dealership day on the Saturday ?

My gut feeling is to keep them entirely separate - just my thoughts, but that was the intention of this thread to bash some idea's about before we set up actual threads for each once dates have been confirmed.

totally agree, if you do meets more than say once a month or so, then it can just become overkill.

The dealership day should be a separate meet in it's self and a regular monthly/bi-monthly meet set up somewhere useful in the NW zone!

Isn't there a Harvester type place immediately off the M62 on the way into Warrington with a decent sized car park? I'm going over to Eric's place today so I'll check it out.

Fair comment Dave, Coxy

with the Cumbria event on the 24th July weekend then the A.I.T.P 2 weeks later and at the moment a trip to Grizz in late June I couldn't afford to to the noggin and natter as well as the dealer meet around that time of end of July/ august.... Plus at some point there is a big 30 th anniversary do at a Scottish dealer date to be confirmed. I can host a few folk if anyone wants to come up here for a change plus the trip I am organising at some point to East Fortune to see Concorde and the Vulcan for those interested .... So it's getting busy at this tine of year to get out and get meetings arranged and the more the better really, just the distances fir some makes many a meet a non starter

I would love to do the breakfast meet but it's a good 600 mile weekend

provisional dates from 'totty will give us some opportunity to see who can and can't attend national meetings.
