To say I was twitchy all the way there "2 hrs" was an understatement as I've only driven her for about 3 motorway junctions max since she was put together!!

I shouldn't have worried as she ran like a champ there and back - even got to pull away from a Focus ST in 4th on the Oxford road

I met some great people while I was at the show, had a free Burger in the AudiSport.net tent 👍 and to top it off came away with a AITP Top 5 winner of the day Award!!! Chuffed is an understatement, glad I got out of bed!!
Well done mate you should be proud

good meeting a few people, very poor turnout which was really dissapointing.

Bri's car looked amazing, real piece of rolling art, very impressive.

I got there at 8am with the cab and was on my own for ages thinking its a washout but then people slowly started to arrive and it picked up. Went home and swapped cars at lunch and came back in the S4 after that.

Some beautiful cars there, and some absolute dogs as well, which shows that even if you have money it doesnt automatically buy you taste (as anyone who saw the pink/purple wrapped R8 Spyder and the and the yellow R8 on air... )

I set off from Hartlepool at 6am, arrived at 9:30 after battling the heavy rain on the way down. And the stupid drivers who have the inability to turn on their lights when driving or use their mirrors.

Anyway a few pictures I took. Apologies that they are of newer variety, but the plan was to take more of Classic Audi stand and Audi S2 forum if the rain settled. But with the on/off down pour and the lighting. I decided to call it a day around 2pm and head home.

It was good to finally meet Taff, the previous owner of my car, Jogi, Leeroy and Bri. And Tonks again. Apologies for not saying good bye. Or meeting any of the other members.

Arrived home yesterday afternoon after being there since Friday in a static caravan on site. Despite the conditions which inevitably put some people off, it had been a thoroughly enjoyable 4 days and as always great to meet people we'd not met in person before, Lee Whitehead (Cabby), Jogi (9020VT), Philip (urs6 Avant), Nick Britton of Audi Reflections (B3 90 quattro), Nierca from Auddictions, Auspom (80 Tdi Avant) Mbr360 (with a superb ur quattro) & BryFlyingBy (in that amazing GT quadlamp).

Pity we didn't create the party atmosphere on the Saturday evening like 2009 & 2010, most Classic Audi peeps were just coming on the Sunday, but while the girls were enjoying the jakuzzi, Leroy & I visited other club camping areas, Audi Reflections, Audi Addicts & Auddictions and the S2 forum, and a good time was had by all.

I promise to post some pics up tonight

sorry i had to head north so early, folks - the missus is ok, thankfully with a just badly bruised foot and a rather painful dose, er nose from the airbag!

the car is a write off but then it was only a ford, so no tears in this camp! full speed ahead in finding her a nice little audi to get her into the swing of things

hope y'all had a great time and that the weather didn't spoil things too much for you.

It was a shame the weather was so poor in the morning but it did clear up, but by that time a lot of people had already left as the sun came out, the drive up was pretty horrid, only the second time the MB has got wet since the rebuild..!!!
All the same it was good to meet and chat to the other members of the forum.
Hope to meet up again soon hopefully in better weather..!!!

I went there with my mates, we ended up camping quite late because we arrived around 7-8 on saturday, rained more or less whole weekend we stayed in/around the tent and did not bother with the event because it was too wet!

We saw the show from our tent!
